What is the Faculty Fellows Program?

Launching in late Summer 2017, the new Faculty Fellows Program in the Division of Student Affairs is a year-long faculty development program providing an opportunity for selected faculty members to integrate co-curricular programming and campus programs into their teaching, research, and public service work, while also becoming recognized campus leaders in experiential learning and campus engagement.

The Faculty Fellows program is supported by the Office of the Vice President for Student Affairs, and designed to enhance connections between in-class experiences and out-of-class experiences. The Fellows Program highlights the Division’s commitment to enhancing student learning through the creation of seamless academic partnerships and integrated curricular and co‐curricular transformational, high impact learning experiences.

The Division of Student Affairs Fellows Program provides an opportunity for faculty to serve in a fellow position within the Division focused on enhancing existing and identifying new Student Affairs/Academic Affairs partnerships that enrich academic degree programs and instructional initiatives, foster seamless learning opportunities for students, and ensure high‐quality academic partnerships between Student Affairs and academic college or targeted academic affairs units at the University of Georgia.

All UGA faculty are invited to apply, including tenure-track, instructional, and public service faculty.

Stay tuned for more application details to be announced in Spring, 2017! Anticipated application deadline in early May, 2017.
